Is it worth to pursue manufacturing process and automation engineering from NSIT over CS from MAIT?

    Anything in NSIT is better than IPU, if only thing you are looking for is placement. All the major companies of mechanical visit NSIT. But if you are interested only in computers than go for MAIT. if you do well you can always land an off campus placement. for comprehensive placement details visit http://www.nsit.ac.in/placement/

    Yes it is a good option. NSIT is a very good Institute in terms of placement and studies. Also the Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engg is a good course to pursue for. It has good career opportunities. If you are getting a college of good repute then do not take chances. Also if you feel that you will get a good college better than NSIT in CS then only choose the option for CS. Otherwise go for NSIT. You may also change to other course after first year in NSIT if you feel that the course is not good. Options are available to change the stream after first year in almost every engineering college.
