India's IT industry is still a big job creator with reasonably good starting salaries. BTech Computer Science and MCA are de facto the most accepted qualifications to start a career as a Software Developer. It is a valuable job-oriented course.

Yes MCA is a valuable course. Though B.Tech in CSE is better than MCA.
