Is it worth to pursue part – time PGDM in IT from Welingkar? Is it a recognised course in the industry?

  • Hello, the part time courses are recognized by AICTE. So if you are working, they can be good for you. But for part time courses, college doesn't help in placements. So you need to search on your own. If you not devote 2 years got the full time, then you can go for part time.

    Hi Dipen,
    If you are already working in an IT company, then it's worth doing part time in IT and kindly also check if your company recognizes part time MBA .
    It definitely carries weightage as it is AICTE recognized.

    The answer to the question would be very subjective. Doing a part time PGDM from Welingkar (or from anywhere) would make more sense if you're a working employee (or self employed), and that your project (or your company) requires you to have that knowledge / education. It sure is recognized in the industry, but it isn't valued as much as the full time PGDM. The faculty for part time PGDM is at par with the full time PGDM, hence the quality of knowledge imparted is at par with the full time PGDM.
