Is it worth to pursue PGDM in DS?

I have already received provisional admission in DS, but I have a strong desire for startup in defense.

    1. PGDM DS at EDII will prepare you for achieving rewarding careers in action with non-profit community-based organisations, state, national and international organisations. Grant making organisations, CSR wings of industrial and Corporate houses, UN organisations engaged in the rural and urban development, own social enterprise with an aim to identify innovative solutions to social problems.
    2. Alumni of this course are currently working with non-government organizations, government sector, CSR, non-profits and social entrepreneurship. If your start-up idea caters to these sectors within the defence, you will definitely get the

    Hi,
    1. PGDM- Development Studies is a good option, if you see the trend in today's world. More and more people are inclined towards social entrepreneurship and this course does poise for being a social entrepreneur.
    2. Defense is a sector which has not really opened up in India. If you are thinking about starting a start-up, it will definitely bring you some advantage. But, you also need to consider the fact, that entry and exit barriers are very high in defense sector.
