Let me share something about the Ph.D. programme at LPU. *Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)* Masters degree with 55%* marks in aggregate in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview. Other conditions, as prescribed in the Guidelines for Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. ) programmes. 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / differently-able candidates. *Selection Criteria:* * An applicant will be short-listed for an interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D. ). * The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in Entrance Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage) subject to scoring minimum marks in the Interview. *Exemption from Entrance Test* Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/ SLET (Punjab only)/ GATE or GPAT scorecard/ ICAR (NET), SPM, Teacher Fellowship holder or passed M.Phil. Programme (in Regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D. ). Note: * Exemption is for LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) only but the applicant will have to fill the LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) form and appear for the Interview. The applicants are required to bring the original documents against which exemption is sought at the time of interview. * GATE/GPAT score should be valid at the time of admission. * The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in Entrance Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage) subject to scoring minimum marks in the Interview. Hi there, I am an alumnus of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. Yes of course you can do Ph.D. at LPU they offer a lot of Courses in Ph.D. LPU is recognised by UGC University Grant Commission. They offer Ph.D. in various disciplines. They have both part-time and full time Ph.D. Options. But for part-time Ph.D. student have to give the experience letter from the employer and LPU does provide Flexible course work to the students. To ease the life of their students. Option 1 they can attend one semester January to April Saturdays or Sundays option 2 4* days every month Feb to may option 3 15 days may to June.
