Is it worth to study MBBS in Philippines? What is the fee structure of it (including all expenses)?

Hi Naren, If you get opportunity to study MBBS in India through merit that is most ideal. If not then you can consider pursuing it abroad rather than spending exuberant amount of money for management seats, as MBBS is a primary degree and you have to pursue PG as well. In India today there are many countries which are open to Indian students for MBBS. In every country there are good colleges and many are average. So choose a good college. Do your own research as well before finalising. In terms of cost in every country be it Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia you can find colleges having fees starting from 15 lacs for whole course (5 to 6 years). There are colleges with higher fees as well in the range of 25 to 30 lacs for the whole course. Every country has its pros and cons. If your focus is on excellent education, then there are some medical universities in Russia which will be the most suitable. Also all universities in Russia are government universities unlike Philippines which is home to mostly private universities. On the other hand, the MBBS fees in other parts of the world like in Russia and China will be within the range of $3900 to $5000, which is way more expensive than usual. The clinical rotations are going to be counted, based on the gradation system. Thus, exposures related with US hospitals can help you to bag several jobs in the USA platform, after going through USMLE.
