Dear Ayushman, Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty members and staff, offering more than 200 programmes. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU - 1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand. 2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here. 3) Placements - The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 8) LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. 9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you'll have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, basketball anything. You'll get many-many tournaments in every case. If your a computer geek, you like coding and all that technological stuff. You are gonna have a great ride. Thank you!

Definitely LPU is worth joining as it is good in all aspects. Campus Infrastructure: LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hours free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and a huge collection of textbooks and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Academics- LPU is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old school books and lectures, LPU has experimented with books, interactive problem-solving interactions and working through real-world applications. Rankings- The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements. LPU is conferred with National Employ-ability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for having Most Employable Students and being one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employ-ability rates. Placements- LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. Hello, I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I would say a big Yes for LPU. Education at LPU is a perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curriculum, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Students who were not so good in academics, they were enrolled in more PEP classes to help them in placement. I hope this helps. All the Best.

Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India has recognised the LPU as one the most Employable and Placements oriented University. According to LPU officials they usually says that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. More than 700 giant companies are visiting University campus to recruit the Industry ready candidates made by LPU. More than 900 drives are being conducted in a year. Now just imagine there are only 365 days in a year, and 900 placement drives are the big number, which simply means that students might witness 4-5 drives at every alternative days.
