    No, there's nothing like that. It depends. It's worth is based on your priorities. If you are totally interested in Mechanical, then I'd suggest you to take up ME in RNSIT or BNMIT or any other college for that matter. But, if you have a heart for management, then I would suggest you to take up IEM. However, there is a lot of advantage in getting into an autonomous college rather than a VTU college with regard to syllabus and the amount of holidays you get. Holidays are important as you can do many internships which adds a lot of value to your resume. So yes, it all depends on where your interest lies and what your goals are.
