Is it worthy for a retail store owner to pursue FMB course?

Totally Worth it! Many family businesses are dying at the hands of giants like Amazon, Reliance. People now-a-days use BigBasket or Amazon or Dmart to fulfil their supplies instead of local Kirana stores. In this changing era to save family businesses high level the latest business methods are to be known. When it comes to Family businesses, I would say the main considerations with any education choice for potentially entering the business would be: What are your core skills, and interest areas? What are the business needs? Is it more management related, or could the business do with some strong finance resources. Let me take an example for you, You seem to have a retail store of yours ( clothing/ electronics/ grocery/ etc. ). Global competitors of yours I, e Reliance Digital or LifeStyle or Lenskart they have better reach towards customers because they have lot of techniques with them like branding, targeting, segmentation, technology, advertising, digital marketing, financial planning. The employees and owners these giants are equipped with knowledge of everything and thus they have more impact on lives of people. For your retail store to follow same impact and growth you require more knowledge which this FMB course provides. There were many Irani Cafes earlier but now hardly there are any. This is because the third generation of those families didn't enter the business and this is because the second generation were not versed with knowledge to scale up businesses. So According to me, you should pursue family business management course so as to take your retail store to new heights for yourself as well as your next generations.
