Is it worthy to drop one year for preparation of IIT-JEE and give mathematics improvement exam?

I have given class 12th PCM examination and expected 70% but have no preparation for JEE Mains.

    You can surely try this year for IIT-JEE Mains. For clearing Advanced you need to have 75% in class 12th or to be in the top 20 percentile. You can take a drop of 1 year, but you need to be very dedicated and committed towards preparation. Constant tests will give you an idea about your performance.
