IVS School of Art and Design is located in Dehradun and is a private college. It was initiated by industry professionals and the leading architecture firm, Urbane-The Design Workshop, existing since 1997. The firm initiated the development of Art and Design College to promote the idea of ‘thinking out of the box’ and to enhance students’ design skills. The college is worth considering as it offers a wide range of programmes at UG and PG levels in the field of design and has collaborated with Drexel University Philadelphia (USA).
