Yes, you can say that it is tough to get admission in JNU as JNU conducts an exam called JNU CET, i.e. Jaipur national university cum entrance test with an interview following the exam.

JNU CET, also known as Jaipur National University Combined Entrance Test, is conducted to facilitate admission to several prestigious UG and PG courses at JNU. Moreover, a personal interview follows this exam. It is important to note that the Jaipur National University direct admissions are made based on the following reasons:

    • The applicants who have valid scores from JEE Mains exam, i.e., above 60 percentile, can apply for JNU B.Tech programs without taking JNU CET.
    • A good merit record from the recognizable board can also invite exemption from taking the JNU CET exam.
