The institute is located at Warangal and is an affiliated institution of Kakatiya University, Warangal; it is particularly known for its concentration on rigorous academics, skills development and professionalism as well as focus on industry interface. In the years, JITS has tried to build a reputation of churning out skilled graduates who can contribute to local and national industries. It was established in the year 2001 and is affiliated to Osmania University, which is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. JITS offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields of engineering and technology coming from different parts of the country. The institute is known well, to date, for having experienced faculties, modern infrastructural facilities, and hands-on training. Over the years, the institute has also maintained a good placement record because many of the students got employed in renowned organizations, making JITS a reliable choice for the quality of engineering education.</p>
