Regarding ownership, GEI is a privately held university, but JIIT is a considered university. When it comes to placements, the median income offered by GEI is INR.4.02 LPA, while JIIT is INR.7.60 LPA. The maximum annual salary received by a GEI student is 30.25LPA, while that of a JIIT student is 1.15 crore. The UCG approves GEI, while the AICTE and the UCG both approve JIIT.
