Is JEE mains preparation enough for IISER entrance exam?

Your JEE Mains preparation of physics, chemistry, and maths is sufficient for IISER entrance examination but in additional to this you need to prepare biology because it is also included in the entrance examination of IISER. I would suggest you to solve some previous year questions before giving the entrance exam.

IISER takes in students via three different channels: KVPY, JEE Advanced and SCB (State Central Board). Your JEE Mains score will not be considered for entrance to IISER, you will be selected based on your JEE advanced rank. To get into IISER Pune or Kolkata, you need to have a rank less than 10k in JEE Advanced.
