Yes, JEE Mains is required for admission to the B.Tech programme at PIET. Admissions to the B.Tech programme are based on valid scores of JEE Main. However, PIET also offers admission to 25% of its seats through the management quota, which does not require JEE Mains. So, while JEE Mains is required for most of the seats, there is a provision for admission without JEE Mains through the management quota.
