Is JEE necessary for admission into Institute of Chemical Technology?

If you qualify under the General AI quota, the maximum required JEE Main cutoff rank for B.Tech admission was 115110 in 2025. Please note that cutoff ranks for admission vary across rounds, specialisations, and categories. Candidates with a lower cutoff rank than the one mentioned here are more likely to secure a seat at ICT Mumbai for one of the B.Tech specialisations.

For general category students under the AI quota, the last round closing rank for B.Tech. in Polymer Engineering & Technology admission was 22643 in 2025. For the same BTech specialisation, the cutoff rank was 25192 in 2024, while in 2023, it was 15478. Therefore, comparing the cutoff ranks over three years, we can conclude that the level of competition has been inconsistent for Polymer Engineering & Technology admission among the General category students. Please note that the cutoff trend varies across rounds, categories, and quotas. 

The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai library remains open throughout the year, except on four days: Independence Day, Republic Day, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Dussehra. Students can access the library from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m on working days and from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on second and fourth Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
