    JNU is a public/ government and the foremost institution in India established in 1966 by an act of Parliament. The college has number one ranking by NAAC in India with a point of 3.91 out of 4. JNU has remained in top 3 In India by the NIRF ranking since 2016 and has also received the Best University Award from the President of India in 2017. Being one of the greatest institutions, JNU has also granted recognition and accreditation to a lot of educational bodies/ colleges. The institution is also very famous for its various foreign language courses and excellent curriculum besides being surrounded by the political limelight.
