Seat acceptance fee, once paid, is not refundable. However, if a candidate later validly withdraws from the seat allocation process, then the seat acceptance fee paid will be refunded after deducting the JoSAA withdrawal processing charges of INR 7000. If a candidate’s seat is cancelled due to not meeting the eligibility criteria or due to unresolved discrepancies in the uploaded documents, then the seat acceptance fee paid will be refunded after deducting the JoSAA processing charges of INR 5000.

Yes, but only after subtracting Rs. 1500 in cancellation fees. However, depending on the organisation and the particulars surrounding the payment, there may be differences in the counselling fee refund policy. For example, you won't be eligible for a refund if you do this after the JOSAA's sixth round and the announcement of the results of the fifth round. For the most recent information available regarding their return policy, please visit their official website or give them a call at their hotline.

Yes,   but only after deducting cancellation charges Rs. 1500. However, the refund policy of the counselling fee may differ in accordance with the institution and the specific circumstances related to the payment. For instance, if you do so after the 6th round of JOSAA and after the 5th round result declaration, you cannot get a refund. Please go through their official website or call their helpline for the latest available information as per their refund policy.

No, one does not have to apply separately at IIT Madras website after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Shortlisted students who get a seat through the JoSAA counselling, simply need to report for document verification and pay the acceptance fees. All the details of the students will be forwarded to IIT Madras by JoSAA directly. Information about the orientation, fee payment, and hostel allocation will be mailed online.
