Is jounalism in marathi is less important than journalism in english?

I have comlpled my 12th in arts .i secured 74%. i m intrested in journalism. i mfrom marathi medium.and from middle class family.i like to write a script,blogs and situation base poems.is jounalism in marathi suitable for me?

If you wish to pursue career in Marathi journalism, it is more important to know Marathi. But Marrathi is not a handicap even while pursuing courses in English medium if you specialise in TV production and have a working knowledge of English.
