JUIT Solan admission is done on the basis of fulfilment of the course-specific admission criteria. The university offers a limited number of seats for its programmes. With the ever-increasing competition and limited number of seats, it is quite difficult to get into the university. However, with the right mindset and preparation students can certainly get into the course of choice at the university. Students can look at the following links to prepare for some of the entrance exams accepted by the university:

Hi.

JUIT offers a “10+2 Merit-Based” admission route for B.Tech for certain seats — i.e. based on your Class 12 (or equivalent) marks instead of national entrance exam rank.

The eligibility for this usually requires: having passed 10+2 (or equivalent) in 2023–2025 and meeting minimum marks (in many cases ~ 60% aggregate, with Physics + Mathematics + appropriate third subject) as specified.

For some disciplines (e.g. Bioinformatics/Biotechnology), there is explicit mention of “non-JEE / 10+2 marks based” admissions.
