Kalpataru Institute of Technology (KIT) at Tiptur is moderate rated, especially in the fields of engineering. It was founded in 1986 and offer under graduate and post graduate programs in various facilities of engineering. The institute at the time of this writing has facilities such as functional lab, class and library setting, and while it may not boast of modern facility as compared to other more established institutes. The range of placements at KIT is average apart from some branches such as Computer Science and Electronics there are little restriction in placements for core engineering branches.
