The UGC and AICTE have both given this college their approval, and according to the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement Ranking, it is among the top 26 to 50 colleges in India.

The UGC is the statutory body responsible for coordinating, determining and regulating standards of higher education. It authorises the recognition to universities across India and disburses funds to those recognised universities and colleges. It has its Head Office in New Delhi's Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. so before taking admission to any college or university please check weather it is UGC approved or not.
As LPU alumni, LPU is UGC approved university apart for UGC recognition, LPU is the only private university which has approval by ICAR.

It's a member of the Association of Indian Universities, as well (AIU). The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has accredited LPU's School of Agriculture (ICAR). LPU is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and is recognised by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) (ACU). The Bar Council of India (BCI) has provisionally authori

I don't know whether Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences is UGC approved or not. Being alumni of LPU, I can say that Lovely Professional University is approved by both UGC and ICAR.
LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR.
