Kashi Institute of Technology (commonly known as KIT) is a private engineering institute located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Private institutions like KIT are typically run and managed by private organizations, trusts, or individuals, and they are not directly funded or administered by the government. It was established in 2008 with an objective to bring technical education in the entire Uttar Pradesh, especially in Purvanchal. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow (formerly U.P.T.U Lucknow).
