Founded in 1948, the University of Kashmir is situated at Hazbartbal in Srinagar and is spread over 247 acres of land. Accredited as A+ Grade university by the NAAC, it offers over 100 courses across various streams at UG and PG levels.
Kashmir University is ranked 72 by US News 2023 under the University (Overall) category, 110 by the QS World University Rankings 2023 under the Southern Asia category.
