Is Kaziranga University - KU as good as Jorhat Engineering College?

Jorhat Engineering College (JEC) is considered a better engineering college than Kaziranga University (KU). JEC is a top government engineering college in Assam and is considered better than KU for placements. However, some say that KU is a good private university with great infrastructure and teachers.
