Is Kent State free to apply?

Indian students applying to Kent State University are required to apply with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. It can also be higher for some of the KSU courses. So, even with a high acceptance rate of 87%, the minimum GPA requirement at this university is way higher than 2.0.

For Indian students, there are two intakes at Kent State University. These intakes are Fall and Semester and the students need to apply before the start. 

The Fall semester of Kent State is the main and most popular intake, and applications generally start on Jun 1 every year. For the Spring semester, these applications usually start around Oct 1 each year.  

International students can apply to Kent State University with all to 7 days from the start of the semester. There are two intakes at Kent State University which are Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall intake is the main intake and it also starts around Jun 1 every year. The Spring semster starts around Oct 1. So the students are suggested to apply before the deadlines so that they have buffer. 

For the Kent State University admissions for the year 2026, international students can choose not to take any SAT or ACT as entrance tests. Hence, technically the students do not really need to submit these scores as part of their applications.
