Kiit is the best to pursue b.tech. kiit have best faculty and infrastructure.
KIIT University recently got the prestigious Institute of Imminence tag, which has been provided to only top 20 Universities in India including all domains and both private and government colleges. So yes it does work out to be better than many other colleges in India. -

Kalinga Institute of Technology is a good college to pursue B.Tech. It has an impressive placement record as well as good overall rankings. You can proceed with the admission in the college. However there are even better options available which you can go for. If you are eligible for KIIT then you can also apply for some other better colleges if you want and may also avail scholarships.
