Koustuv Research Institute of Medical Science (KRIMS) is a general Tier 2 institute. The placement record of KRIMS is low as compared to other institutes. Few companies come to the campus during the recruitment drives, and only modest salary packages are offered to the graduates. The Tier 1 institutes, on the other hand, have better placement options with higher salary packages and have an extensive network of industry connection. KRIMS thus offers quality education but with a placement outcome not equal to that of Tier 1 colleges. As a result, it is relatively less competitive in the job market compared to more-tiered institutions.
