Indeed, lateral entry admission is available for Chandigarh University's BTech degrees. Students who have successfully completed a diploma program in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution are eligible for this option. Through the lateral entry strategy, these applicants can shorten their total study time by jumping straight into the second year of the BTech program. In addition to having to take the university's admission exam, applicants must fulfil certain eligibility requirements, such as having a certain percentage in their diploma. They may also be evaluated based only on the results of their diploma.
