    Dear Pavithra,
I have seen in many universities that they don't accept the candidates from KSOU whether for job or for higher studies. So, firstly opt for some other university. Secondly, for a technical course opt for regular mode instead of a distance/ correspondence mode.
There are many good universities offering MCA. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like Manipal, Lovely, Kurukshetra, Himachal, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. Some even offer good scholarships.
    Good luck.

    Hi Pavithra,
Now, it cannot be said lateral entry as now UG colleges have opened and about PG MCA correspondence it starts in July or August first week. So, it cannot be termed as lateral entry and if you are applying in October, then it would be termed as lateral entry in correspondence.
