    Hello Students,
    LEET or Lateral Entry Entrance Exam. This is an exam that is conducted by some states only for Diploma holders to directly join the 2nd year of engineering course.
    Here, I want to bring out an interesting fact that most of the states do not allow students of other states to take lateral entry directly into the 2nd year of engineering course. As this is the case, many states even do not conduct any exam since exams of Diploma are conducted by the same agency as the one coordinating lateral admissions and hence admissions are based on marks obtained in this exam.

    First of all I want to let you know that later entry entrance exam test are not valid for all the engineering colleges across the India as most of the engineering colleges does not accept lateral entry but there are some of the colleges who accept lateral entry into the colleges and also provides scholarship to the student if he has done very well in his first year of the college.
    Given below is the list of the colleges that takes part in the lateral entry entrance test and allow student to get admission in the colleges through lateral entry and they are as follows:

    Different states technical education board and universities conduct their own LEET examination for lateral entry admission in engineering. Score obtained in LEET of one state is not valid in engineering colleges of other states.
