Is life at LPU is more hectic?

Well ! I would like to say that "YOUR SUCCESS COMES WHEN YOU COME OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE". I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Some of the OTHER MAIN POINTS: faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. 1. LPU got the highest ranking according to Impact Ranking 2021 2. LPU is ranked No 2 among the Indian B schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF. 3. Scholarships provide an opportunity for the students to earn an education.

It is sometimes good to learn from the hectic schedule, that itself will prepare the student for future and the corporate jobs. To cope with the environment there are several facilities being provided in the LPU campus. From the Infrastructure to discipline, The first time I entered the campus, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the campus. Such a clean and green environment it is. Positivity is all around in the campus. Central Library is there for the students to enhance the knowledge, MAC labs, High Tech Labs, Project studio are there to give exposure to the Industry and the Live Projects. Security & Safety LPU is a Drug-Free Campus LPU that has Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. With over 400 full-time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world.

Being an alumnus of LPU, I don't think that life at LPU is hectic. Life at LPU is quite good. I did MBA from this University and I stayed in the LPU hostel during my Post graduation years and honestly those were the best days of my life. I made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences. I am in a better position to answer your question. My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. First of all congratulations to you as you successfully entered college life. I want to tell you that you are at the very right place, Lovely Professional University not only boosts the career of the Student, It also provides you the skills which school forgot to teach you. Do not miss your Induction at all. You shall participate in your induction programme which will help you to know the basic guidelines of your programme, information about your class mentor, HOD etc. You will be getting information about them and contact numbers, email ids will be shared at this time. LPU is a place for every type of student who has different interests and liking. You will get a lot of opportunities in a Lovely professional University. There are numerous activities to do depends upon one's choice and interests. There is one Division named Division of Student where you can register for dance, music, sports, etc. There is a mall on the campus itself where you can shop, eat, play games, etc. There is a gym as well. The campus itself is too big to accommodate all kinds of leisure activities. I am sure many more things have been added till now. Enjoy the co-curricular Events: Don't miss the opportunity to refresh yourself by attending the fun events in the evening especially in the month of August. University spends a lot for these kinds of events. Join a Student Organisation. It's about exposing yourself to something new every time and meeting new people you have an opportunity. There are endless options to choose from and whenever in a fix, go with the NSS or NCC for some community service. Pursue your hobby: Many come to college life saying to themselves Ah, here I am finally. Free from everyone, the family, the society back home and decide to pursue theatre or learn to dance or try the guitar or start your own entrepreneurial venture. By the time people realize it, times already gone. So, it becomes crucial to experiment early. LPU provides you a wide platform to groom your personality.

No, not all. I have spent the glorious 5 years at LPU campus for my Fashion Design degree. LPU is in-fact the most happening campus and equally focuses on the extra curricular and events additional to academics. It is indeed a very lush green campus with all the facilities of the city - in one campus! Tentatively 20,000 students are residing inside the campus hostel and apartments only. Being a hostler makes it even more amazing as we didn't has to leave our campus. I have witnessed multiple concerts and events at campus. After a long hectic schedule, these events boosted back our energies. Various events like Coke Studio, Campus Princess, Eva India, Efficycle, GEEK FIESTA, Marathons, One India, One World, GoKarting, Fanfest, Glow Run, etc. Are few of the events conducted by LPU. LPU even has Counselling and Happiness cell for their students to counsel them. Students can anytime meet these counselors for any type of support. There are several student organisations, Art groups, Dance teams, Theater, NCC team, NSS, sports activities etc. Which are run under the Division of Student Affairs. If you have talent and want to pursue it, this division will boost your talent in every possible way. The campus is absolutely free from any danger with zero resistance of ragging. The campus incorporates every one of the necessities which we expect at our home. Single beds, separate study tables, separate almirahs, attached washrooms with geyser inside, AC or Cooler as selected, Mess facility with south India, Northern, eastern, harayanvi, North Eastern, Gujrati meal plans, 24 hours CCTV Cameras inside and outside hostels, Power reinforcements, Wi-Fi facility in each block, University Hospital with 24/7 availability of ambulance, Study Rooms, lifts, Retail chain, parking facility, Gardens inside hostels. I still reminisce the calm evenings spent in hostel gardens and the everlasting memories made there. The hostel staff has been so cooperative. There was not even a single day of concern in terms of their security for me and my parents. And how can I forget the University mall with all the necessary stores for purchase of books and stationary, gifts, Electronics, Apparels, Dominos, Dine ins, Bakeries, and of-course a FUNZONE with fun games like Pool, Super bowl etc. They even have an Indoor stadium with facilities like: Olympic level swimming pool, Shooting area, 6-7 Squash courts, around 17 Badminton courts, Volleyball and COMBATIVE games.

Well being alumni of LPU, I must say this myth is completely irrational. I had spent my 5 years in LPU as Hosteler. I must say I am highly benefitted by the systematic & advanced academic methodology of LPU in the controlled yet happening campus environment. Lovely Professional University is very much renowned for its student friendly nature. LPU is always taken care of its students like a family. LPUs motto for the all round development of students both academically as well as in personal life. There is no other way than admitting that, it's LPU who helps us to learn not only how to acquire a great career rather also how to be a good human being. With the aim of all-round development of students, so that students would be getting emerged strongly in each & every domain of life, there are nearly 60 student organization or clubs have been created by Lovely Professional University. With this initiative students will never feel alone in the campus. LPU is also very strict on the attendance of the students. 75% attendance is mandatory for the students at any cost. It's the sign of focus of an University towards it's student's growth only in methodical manner. Students are also been allocated with Academic & Industry mentor from Day 1. In this context I find it worth mentioning some of the rules for the Boys Hostel @ LPU, 1) 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict actioned used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of such rules. 2) Students are not allowed to enter any other Hostel without permission of the authority. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. 3) Boys are allowed to go outside campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 4) Special Permission will be extended to Boys student for night out with the written permission of Warden & Parents. 5) Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. Though there are many restrictions you can observe from the above mentioned points for the hostellers but believe me at the end of day you will find it necessary for all your security & safety. These restrictions would definitely make you learn how to lead your life in controlled environment. Go for LPU, it's the place where your root becomes strong !!
