Lingaya Vidyapeeth is a private institution. It's in the Indian state of Haryana, at Faridabad. Originally called Lingaya's Institute of Management and Technology, it was connected to Maharishi Dayanand University when it was founded in 1998. 2009 saw the institute renamed Lingaya's University (now Lingaya's Vidyapeeth) and become a deemed-to-be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 [1].
