Is living in Germany expensive for international students?

<p>Relatively, Germany is not unaffordable to live in for international students. The <strong>cost of living </strong>will depend on various factors such as the location of your university, type of accommodation, your lifestyle etc. Some cities like Berlin and Frankfurt may be expensive for international students to live in. &nbsp;you would <strong>need around &euro;861 </strong>per month, or so says the Federal Foreign Office. As of <strong>January 1, 2022, </strong>&nbsp;keeping the rate of inflation in mind, the mandatory amount required in the&nbsp;<strong>Blocked Account for studying in Germany is &euro;10,332 for an entire year or &euro;861 for a month.</strong></p>
