L.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology (L.J.I.E.T) is classified as a Tier 2 institution. This categorization is based on a number of evaluations and rankings of engineering schools in India; it does not satisfy the standards usually applied to Tier 1 universities, which include better rankings and more prominent affiliations.
