Hello,
As per the NTA guidelines, aspirants who have qualified master's degree or are enrolled in the post-graduation, can apply for the exam. So, to appear for the exam, firstly you have to enroll in LL. M. degree. Before applying for the exam make sure you fulfill other requirements also. To appear for the exam, you have to score at least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category or 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwD category in the post-graduation. You cannot do UGC NET after LLB. You have to complete LLM first, then only you would be eligible to sit for the UGC NET exam. -
According to the norms of the NTA UGC NET LLB graduates are not eligible to appear for the UGC NET Exam, as LLB is a Bachelor's degree. To appear in the exam, you must complete your Post-Graduation in LL. M. To appear in the exam you must fulfil the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria under NTA:
The minimum age required is 30 years (general category), 33 years LLM graduates), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidates). There is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor.
