    Hello,

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is generally considered a Tier 2 university in India, based on its infrastructure, academic offerings, and national recognition. Reasons for Tier 2 Status:

    • National Ranking: LPU consistently ranks among the top private universities in India and is recognised in national rankings like NIRF. However, it does not yet achieve the same ranking as IITs or NITs, which are typically classified as Tier 1 institutions.

    Hi,

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is regarded as a tier 3 university rather than a tier 1 or tier 2 institution. While tier 2 institutions have worse academic performance and placements than tier 1 schools, tier 1 colleges are thought to be the most prestigious and intellectually superior. Typically private, tier 3 institutions do worse academically and in terms of placement than tier 1 and tier 2.

Here are some further LPU facts:
According to NIRF, LPU was rated 47th out of all Indian private and public institutions in 2022.

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) counts LPU as one of its members.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is generally considered a Tier 2 university in India. It's got a good reputation and offers a bunch of programs, but it's not in that top-tier category like some of the older, more established universities. LPU is accredited by ACBSP, ICAR, and with an A ++ Grade by NAAC.
