Let me list out the facts and figures for you to decide. Total companies: 800+
Total companies offering above 10 LPA : 60 +
Total companies which hire only from LPU, outside of IITs/Iims: 80+
Total companies out of fortune 500 club: 60+
Total placement drives: 900+
Placement record: 95% plus. Some big recruiters are

Lovely Professional University is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities. And I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech from LPU only and right now she is working with Amazon. Few points which will help you to take decision:-
It is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities. The curriculum blends in with the technology. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Record placements with over 610 hired on a single day by cognizant. Tech mahindra hired 250 students in one go, which is the highest for any campus drive conducted by tech mahindra. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) selected LPU students for International locations. Students are exposed to higher order problem solving skills by making them part of competitive programming events like codechef, hackerrank, topcoder etc. Lpu students don't line up for placements, the companies do! The finance minister himself inaugurated lpu start up school. Student go beyond business plans and launch start-ups at world's first student-run mall. The course provides instil knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development and Cloud Computing
While studying at Lovely Professional University, you will get option for Credit transfer programme, Semester exchange programme, International Exposure programme and Master abroad programme. Choose wisely where your want to study as it will be a key factor in determining your future. It was my point of view, that I shared.

LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. There are more than 250 courses which are offered by the University. B.Tech is also one of the high in demand programme. When it comes to placement and salary I would say it is more of student's labour but yes university also plays a vital role. Salary is completely your performance in the interview and skills you posses. More than 550 companies (more than 90% being MNC's) visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Engineering school of LPU has been ranked 66th among the top Engineering Universities and colleges of India. LPU Engineering programme ranked 10th by World University Rankings 2022 #thinkbig.
Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many of IITs. As per the world ranking 2022, LPU has been ranked 10th amongst top universities of India in engineering subject. HI, LPU is one of the best private universities, which offers more than 250 programmes, out of which Engineering is most in demand.
