    I am not much aware of Loyola College for BCom programme. but being alumni of LPU, I can provide you with the details of this programme at LPU.
    In LPU students get an in-depth knowledge of banking and management courses. Bcom Hons. is a specialized course that enables aspirants to gain adequate knowledge about the financial management and risks involved. This Hons course is of 3 years with 6 semesters. LPU allows students to analyze the market strategies and organizational behaviour of many banking and financial sectors.

    Programme Details : It will develop broad commercial knowledge among the students and build skills vital for professional success.
    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.     I am not quite aware of Loyola College (LC, Chennai) for B.Com, but to my experience and knowledge, LPU does offer B.com and B.Com Hons, and that too with current market needs-based specializations.     Yes, it is for boys only in the undergraduate courses. It is co-Ed for all post graduate courses.
    But for the courses like viscom, BMM and French, girls can apply in the undergraduate level.
