Yes, definitely LPU is the best university to pursue a hotel management programme. I have completed my MBA from LPU and one of friends cousin is also studying in LPU in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Hello there, I guess I can help you with this, as am students of LPU and I had a roommate who was pursuing hotel management, well now she is placed in Radisson now, so according to her and what I have observed till now is that LPU is definitely best for hotel management. There are several reasons for that, I have seen my roommate very closely that how my roommate and her friends are groomed and trained so well, I have always seen them attending so many workshops, and seminars, and going for industrial visits, I remember that in my breaks I used to go to University hotel, yes you read that LPU has its own hotel, where students practice and learn, so sometimes I used to wander there in university hotel. My roommate told me that The School trains them in the campus hotel which has 25 rooms. She has hosted national and international guests where their batch practice along with the staff. Now talking about infrastructure The hotel management school has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. LPU has training restaurants to teach a student. And LPU has been always known for placements, hence, 100% placements record with a minimum of 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) the placement is with brands like Radisson, Cox & Kings, Carnival Cruise, JET Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, and several others.
