UPTU is better in terms of academics and overall placements. All LPU has it's loads of crowd which makes it financially stable and notable with the few achievements out of huge students. Though, if LPU is nearer to you, then don't go for UPTU, else, prefer UPTU.

UPTU college must be good at delivering what they promise but I have know knowledge of the institution. Being a Jalandhar I know about LPU, and I can tell you about LPU only. LPU is at no 12 among all government and private architecture institutions in India. In pharmacy it is 23, in Law 24, in business it is 37 and in engineering it is 66. Just have a look of other rankings. It is way too impressive. The Times World University Rankings 2022 LPU Is at no 22 in Times Higher Education List. Outlook ranks LPU at number 9 in Outlook Care rankings and The Timesof India ranks LPU at no 36 in the list of engineering institutes. LPU gives great placement opportunities to its students. Every year breaks its own record of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 30 LPA to LPU students from CSE. LPU is better compared to all the other UPTU colleges and the reason is its placements, campus life, infrastructure, etc. The campus here at LPU is so lively and beautiful. The campus in itself is a completely different world. You will have all the facilities that you can think of inside the campus itself. The teaching methodology here is also very good. They focus on innovative teaching embedding all the latest trends, practical knowledge, etc. The faculty members here are also very knowledgeable. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or alumni of NIT, IIT, and Iims. And when we talk about the placements here, it is far better than many private colleges of India. More than 550 companies visit the campus every year to recruit students with around half of them offering dream packages.

Being an alumni I would definitely say "YES ". I would say that LPU would be the best university in terms of the placements. As I am having many friends who has been placed at eminent institutions and they found themselves very fortunate. LPU is having outstanding placements record for the students. As every year not only national companies but also international ones are also hiring the LPU students for instance Amazon offers 30 Lacs package per annum. The Corporates which have visited the campus are Microsoft, Amazon, DBS Bank etc. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered till now is 42 LPA. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) selected LPU students for International locations. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered till now is 42 LPA. LPU is better compared to all the other UPTU colleges any day. Many big names in the industry like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 25-30 LPA to LPU students from CSE department. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students. LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC recognised and a renowned University and is considered as one among top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with the latest facilities. So, it is better to choose wisely than repent later on.
