    No, LPU is not a deemed university, it is a private university situated in Punjab. Lovely Professional University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. LPU is much better than any other University.     It is a deemed private university in India it has only one main campus in India which is in Punjab recognized by UGC and has many accreditations.
