Is LPU a good college for a B.Tech CSE?

LPU is good, but if you have not sufficient money then do not go to LPU as it is a costly university.

Hi Sameeksha, As per my observation, yes, LPU is a good college for B.Tech CSE because the most important thing for a student is placed after graduation. As per my knowledge, LPU has a very good placement record. I know this because my friend is a pass out student from Lovely Professional University and he told me that so many organizations visited campus for placement process with good package, average package for a CSE student is 4 lacs per annum and if a student maintains his/her CGPA then definitely he/she will be placed. My friend is very good at programming and he got a job at Amazon with a package of 15 lacs per annum. I have seen his growth in academics as well as, as a human being, LPU provides a platform for the student to enhance their skills in sports, co-curricular, cultural activities, practical exposure, etc. He wrote an entrance exam for Eligibility and Scholarship and on the basis of this test, he got a scholarship for his degree (4 years). He told me about the student organizations of which he was a member. His team conducted a fundraising event so that they can provide useful things to a school and an old age home. Their team also took orphans on a Science city tour. They had organized many free health check-up camps in villages. All these activities have improved his managing skills, time management, presentation skills. I noticed that after joining LPU he improved a lot. He also said that the university provides a platform to the students to run their own venture, a student can avail SEED money for initiating the project. He started his own venture on campus and did well in that. He was staying in a hostel because services are too good like mess facility, internet services, tv room, biometric facility, and wardens are so supportive. He is also a badminton player and got a chance to play in AIU and won many prizes. He told me he was enrolled in the Professional Enhancement programme and the curriculum incorporates specific courses to crack the placement processes. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for a career. I have completed my CSE from the LPU in the year 2019. I have not faced any kind of disappointment at any phase. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. My Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. LPU gave me an extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure, or other facilities. The best thing is LPU gives the career pathways like I was interested in placements and I opted then university gave me all required and important inputs and the result was my placement in a good MNC with Great Package. The maximum package was 31 Lacs per annum in that year. On another hand, my batchmates who were interested in higher studies than university gave all required inputs according to them. So in short LPU is actually Nourishing the students for a better future. Rest Haters are everywhere but LPU is the Best place for a good career.

Yes, it provides good placements. According, to careers 360 it has AAA+ ratings which mean good. Ratings are based on Faculty, Placements, Cut-offs of national / state level Entrance exams, Accreditation and Reward status and Publication record from Elsevier's indexing database - Scopus.
