If you are looking for quality education, good placements, exposure, academics then LPU is right place, it has all. I am saying this because one of my known is pursuing B.Tech biotechnology course from LPU and her experience is amazing. The course offers specializations in Dairy Technology, Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics. The curriculum offers prime focus on fundamental and applied aspects of biotechnology. In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. She said, specializations may be offered in Dairy Technology or Fermentation Technology or Molecular Biotechnology (subject to minimum number of students and feasibility)
The school encourages R & D activities for students to get the benefit. Many students from LPU have successfully collaborated with foreign universities and research institutions. The MHRD NIRF ranking of LPU for engineering is 87, while the overall NIRF ranking is 99. LPU has best placement and Infrastructure facilities. So the LPU is a good University for pursuing B.Tech Biotechnology course. However the admission in B.Tech. (Biotechnology (BT) for academic session 2020-21 has been closed.
