You need to do your Bachelors from a college that has maximum practical exposure as well as internships to give hands on knowledge and experience. As much as theoretical knowledge is important, its practical application of the same which holds the key to success. You must choose the college which has: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since engineering is going to have a sea change in how the things work, is a highly dynamic, you cant afford to be stuck in obsolete technologies. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy formal the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech programme must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like CAD, SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Dear Saurabh, There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth, etc. to be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in ECE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA.
