Hi Mahitha, LPU is a brand and has one of the best fashion designing department where students get to showcase their creativity. The university conducts is own fashion shows to help them showcase their designs, some even go for events outside to showcase their designs. The students graduating from LPU are working with good fashion brands. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The University leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students but if you are also looking for other options then you can choose NIFT as it is the best one. All the best!!

Design Fashion from Lovely Professional University and today she is successfully running her own Brand, she was also the part of internship projects with leading Fashion stylists. Also, her designs are appreciated not just in India but even abroad. She always keeps on appraising LPU for different platforms provided by them. I will be sharing few major highlights of Fashion Design course based upon her experience. LPU is a decent college for fashion design where there is ample opportunity for you to come up as a professional fashion designer accompanied by less fee. You have plenty of options in universities and colleges that provide UG, PG, and Diploma courses in fashion designing but I will tell you about Faishon designing at LPU because one of my close friends just finished b design degree in fashion at LPU and now she joined the Satya Paul ( In campus placement ). As per her feedback, LPU is one of the best design schools in India. LPU follows the total practical in creative Approach from designing to merchandising. The curriculum is so well benchmarked with the foreign universities which help the students to work on Creative exercises and design, Textures, and fabrics. National and international Education tours, Semester exchange options give great exposure to students. Moreover, Live fashion shows and events play a vital role in Boosting motivation in students. LPU also gives exposure to dyeing, Printing, Weaving, Draping, etc. Placements are also good as LPU has a separate department of placement services that takes care of Placement drives and professional enhancement of the students.
