LPU is one of the best universities in India. It is a UGC approved university which has been ranked highly by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices etc. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. LPU is one of the best colleges in India for engineering, not for all. So, I think you should try to find the colleges for all major cases then you go for it.
Another option, Delhi university. DU is one of the best central universities in India.
