Is LPU a good option for aerospace engineering?

Dear Submit, I highly recommend LPU for aerospace engineering. My sister did this programme at LPU. Aerospace engineers develop new technologies for use in aeronautical, defense systems, and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering focuses on designing both aircraft and spacecraft and it is a study of all the space crafts used within and out of the earth's atmosphere while Aeronautical Engineering is the study of aircraft that operates within the earth's atmosphere. If you pursue a course in aerospace engineering it will enhance your knowledge about both aeronautics and astronautics, you will not only learn about aircraft but also about spacecraft. Lovely Professional University is the most well-founded University for pursuing an Aerospace Engineering programme. As per my experience LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking university for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. So, you should go for LPU and you will not regret this decision ever.

LPU is great for aerospace engineering as LPU has always been enthusiastic about Science and technology and this is one of the things that I love about LPU. LPU is the best-ranking college in aeronautical/aerospace engineering. Placements: About 75% of the students are placed in this course. The highest package offered in the course is about 15 Lacs and the average package is 6-7 Lacs. There are many internship opportunities at the university. Students start getting internships from the first year onwards. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available at the university. The infrastructure is huge and is very beautiful. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with high-speed internet. A hospital is available on the campus which is opened 24*7 for the students. All types of doctors are available in the hospital. Faculty: The teachers are highly educated and most of them are Ph.D. holders. They have graduated from IITs and have great experience in this field. The course curriculum is a vast and major aspect related to our field. The subjects are very interesting. EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: LPU is the most happening campus with daily events and competitions. LPU may have the largest number of organizations to participate in and learn new things from. LPU provides you a sense of responsibility too by encouraging students to do entrepreneurial ventures and explore every aspect of their life. FACILITIES: If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and mall. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecrafts, aircrafts, missiles and weapons systems. The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astronautically engineering. The course also focuses on new technologies in aviation, defence systems, and space exploration. It also includes aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, materials Science, structural analysis and manufacturing. PLACEMENTS: Companies like Every year more than 550 companies visit LPU for placement purposes. Companies like Ashok Leyland, Bosch, and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Unominda, Voltas, Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, VA tech Wabag, Thermax, Bristlecone, Tex Fasteners, GigaSolar, Westline Shipping, Raam Group, Nylocore Transmissions. First batch started in 2016 with class of 27 students, out of which 19 has registered for placements and 8 students decided to go for higher studies. Out of 19 students, 13 are placed (70% Placed) and still there are many placement drives to happen till the month of July to secure more than 100% Placement by offering dual offer letters to some students. As the world is moving towards commercialization of space shuttles and rockets, the demand for aerospace engineers is set to increase. With a number of private players entering into aerospace technology, the opportunities are getting better. Duties of Aerospace Engineers Aerospace engineers typically do the following: Direct and coordinate the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products Assess proposals for projects to determine if they are technically and financially feasible Determine if proposed projects will result in safe operations that meet the defined goals Evaluate designs to SEE that the products meet engineering principles, customer requirements, and environmental regulations Develop acceptance criteria for design methods, quality standards, sustainment after delivery, and completion dates Ensure that projects meet quality standards Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to identify sources of problems and possible solutions One of my best friends is doing Aerospace Engineering at LPU.
