Yes, LPU is a good option for civil engineering, though, it is not that much well established when compared with the deemed institution but overall, it plays a big role in developing your personality as being a part of a big university. Also, you are likely to get more job offers from different branches other than your core. Go further, if the same may suit you. The biggest advantage you will have is this- , if you pursue B. Tech after Diploma, around 60% of core subjects will be covered by you. This means you will be among top students in your B. Tech class and will pass the degree with flying colors. After doing Diploma, you will save one year by enrolling in second year of B. Tech program and will complete your study in three years.
