As per my experience, LPU is Best OPTION. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing our students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. To cater to these needs the department is structured into five vibrant centers of studies:

Yes, LPU is a good option for civil engineering, though, it is not that much well established when compared with the deemed institution but overall, it plays a big role in developing your personality as being a part of a big university. Also, you are likely to get more job offers from different branches other than your core. Go further, if the same may suit you. Also, the top placements are grasped by topper and skilled students, so you need to be in that race throughout your journey. Hope it helped. Thank you.

The biggest advantage you will have is this- , if you pursue B. Tech after Diploma, around 60% of core subjects will be covered by you. This means you will be among top students in your B. Tech class and will pass the degree with flying colors. After doing Diploma, you will save one year by enrolling in second year of B. Tech program and will complete your study in three years.
Now, I will give you my opinion based on feedback received from students who are known to me and are currently studying Civil Engineering at LPU. Besides, few colleagues of mine who have previously worked in the same Department. So, following are the highlights o
